Suggestion for internal links #9932
Comments
This is already available, as far as I know. You can highlight the text you want to link, use the You can enter your keywords on this box to search for related posts. Screenshots indicating this behavior. Searching with the keywordsAfter choosing a postHyperlink completedIs this not working for you? |
You should already be able to search for posts as @arunsathiya mentioned. Support for also searching for pages was added in #7894 (3.4). Searching for CPTs (Custom Post Types) should work as long as the CPT has added support to include itself in API calls (ref). I will close this issue for now because it has been tested and should be working. If you still need help, we can continue the discussion here and just let us know exactly the type of content you are trying to search for and please verify you are using the latest stable release of Gutenberg. |
Sorry I Had no time to answer about this issue before. Suggestions for internal links works on classic blocks, but not in Gutenberg paragraphs. I enter keywords to find articles or pages, but it doesn't suggest anything. I updated to the last version of gutenberg (3.8.0), with the theme Twenty eleven. |
It works now. I don't know why, but that's great. Sometimes I also have problems with the selection of categories, it is not available, I refresh the page and it comes back. I don't have explanations for these bugs. |
For missing categories, it's possible that could be caused by a plug-in conflict. Would you mind listing your active plugins? |
I see that Gutenberg don't suggest internal links (other wordpress articles, pages...) when I create a new link. Classic editor did it.
Can you add this feature to Gutenberg ?
