settings to define the only file that needs to get compiled

Hi! This is my file directory and I only want the style.scss to get compiled and then the output compiled css file should get saved as style.css.

I changed the output directory of both scss and sass to this "./app/public/wp-content/themes/dawn-child" but it is still not working for me. Did I do anything wrong or am I missing something?
