As discussed on IWC Nürnberg: Subscribe to the hub of a feed every day and send webmentions on every hub notification.

This would act as a way to get automatic webmentions for static web sites.

This combined with a properly set up static site Pubusbhubbub feed will make automatic realtime webmentions happen. See http://bret.io/2014/03/16/github-pages-pubsubhubbub-support-levels-up/ for how to set up such a feed.

Great idea. I could also make it so you could add a Telegraph URL as a webhook in GitHub. That would eliminate one moving part to make this work.
