After reinitiating the @ace server and changing nothing else.. The server settings aren't applied to the |
Have you tried without these Performance Binaries (memory allocator?)? Afaik are these things WIP / dev buildish stuff and might contain errors that actually reduce performance or introduce bugs. |
Y that's why I installed them.. The fps dropped off. Ive got it working again, with ace server 20 fps. Its definitely something in the ace server cfg. IDK what setting it is.. but fps is half with it working.. 10 fps wanna see rpt? |
Maybe even v2 contains bugs that are specific to your setup? Who knows. We don't support these things and I know too little about their current state to say anything for sure about them. Just use the stable build .dll's and try to find the error from there. |
thx.. The error with creating units to remote.. stays in rpt if disable HC's..no fix. |

Also this is only the servers RPT file. Since the FPS problems seem to happen on a client, please upload the clients RPT as well. |
I always have 40 fps on client.. This rpt is 1.64 stock.. when logged out 4 fps server. removing @ace server fps will hover 12-18 |
I can't guess what settings in export settings would have this magnitude of impact. |

the last rpt is correct vers.. reran mission 3.1.0 and I just ran it again.. Disabled adv ballistics , every time enter a firefight, or u can tell other team is in firefight.. fps drop from 45 to 7 in less than a minute. client stays at 45. It would lose a lot of features if not using exported settings.. AND fps comes back to only playable.. nothing to brag about like 1.62 was good. And the fps neer returns to playable.. |
I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but if you're using ace_server.pbo to force some settings, make sure to have ace_frag_reflectionsEnabled set to 0. Can't find the link to the issue, but iirc it causes server fps to drop if enabled. |

Yeah, there is this bug, fixed in #4475. Simple fix is running with reflections disabled until released. Let us know if that works for you! |
That didn't fix it.. All was good even with reflections b4 1.64 Lasted a little longer though 10 min. |
Maybe your server is just too weak? I honestly don't know what to do about this. |
I just donnot believe that. JestServers use good gear. 4cores. dedicated ai core.. Multicore HC's. |

So since the objects that must be read aren't Fixed Position, then INIT could take too long. if the So error creating groups on remotely could mean IT can't be found in time.. and is searched out. IDK if remote means to server. I disabled HC's and the error still remains.. So remote=CantFindIt . This didn't used to happen too. |

OK, Well something is changed.. I had the server doctors at jest check out the hardware ,,they said is good to go. ( same server deal.. separate 32 slots.. I used RHS.. this server has no Drops after update..) |

Wouldn't cause any FPS drops afaik. I didn't see that in any of your RPTs though. |
@dvdbrewster I find it very hard to understand you. English is not my first language so that may be the cause. For people like me to properly understand you, you need to write clearer and more complete sentences. |

OH. !seems the server got a little better.! I disabled a few settings.. ADV Med, Ballistics, Forece all settings..I can play 24-28 server frames Signed by my Computer Laptop

Description:
I found I was experiencing fps drops since last update to maingame. Removing the ace server automation @myserver, improves the Problem. 23 or so b4 update.. W/aceServer drops rapidly to 6 or 7 at first contact with enemy. W/O aceserver battlefield in progress 15-20.
Other servers same mission.. w/o ace (like rhs) fps seems about the same since 1.64. as before 1.64
