Block design for a dynamic list

We have a UI requirement where a non standard dynamic list[0] with rich inner content must be generated from a set of cards in a tab container[1].
An XHR call is needed in order to retrieve the prices.
Assuming the list could be a generic block itself, how should we proceed with the block design?
A. create a custom block for the whole section surrounding the list
B. create a generic list block and generate its markup on the fly at the front end out of the cards/XHR response
Any other suggestion?

I think the answer is A or maybe using Tabs block with a variant. We don't typically like doing generic solutions without knowing the other use cases. @ryanmparrish what do you think about this?

I also think A would be the right option. You can use any content or block in a tab container so it should work as is using the tabs quiet variant. Those Icons in the tablist would need to be added to the icons.svg sprite to display in the label. ex. :individual: LMK if you have questions.

I wanted to make sure that it is ok to create custom blocks for similar needs, e.g: a dynamic styled list. I'll follow the instructions for the icons and the tab container.
