How many of them are required: Ideally two for redundancy purposes, but since the requirements are low now that we don't mirror anything from mercurial now AFAIK with the full migration to skara it can probably run anywhere e.g. one or two of the x64 build machines with multiple executors.
Please explain what this machine is needed for: Running the skara mirror jobs and to decomission a further AWS machine that we had left running.

Currently using C3jenkins from Equinix as a replacement node tagged as master. I've marked the AWS git-hg machine offline and added git-hg to C3jenkins - for now - to see if any backlogs occur on that label with a view to decommissioning (Or we could use the AWS machine instead of C3jenkins...)
Note that the machine used for the git-hg mirror requires that the jenkins user has accepted the github ssh host key.
