Can't restart container - systemd errors

After doing docker restart i get the following error:

Failed to attach 1 to compat systemd cgroup /docker/d6405622489f439285f85c26e2336ee5b3cb19c4b27afd8aabe2211c6cecc817/init.scope: No such file or directory

i think you need the full command to restart the container, this might be easier with docker compose something like this #70

hmm with docker compose it appears to need at least a docker-compose down && docker-compose up -d
