common directories like "src" or "include" sometimes jumps you to a different project #929

If I've spent time in one project, then go to work on another, I have to spend a while prefixing relative directory changes with ./ or it will jump back to src, include etc in the previous one.

A directory that exists in the current working directory should take the highest priority, I think. It doesn't happen all the time, just often enough to bite me in the ass as I wonder why the the files aren't what I'm expecting.
