Same issue here (also on Ubuntu 22.04.3 and Gnome 42.9)
Can trigger this issue consistently on maximizing a small window to full screen. Current workaround is to first split into half-screen before maximizing fully.
Issue only occurs when this extension is installed.
Logs produces errors like:
Can't update stage views actor <unnamed>[<MetaWindowGroup>:0xHEXCODE] is on because it needs an allocation.
Can't update stage views actor <unnamed>[<MetaWindowActorX11>:0xOTHERHEXCODE] is on because it needs an allocation.
Can't update stage views actor <unnamed>[<MetaSurfaceActorX11>:0xTHIRDHEXCODE] is on because it needs an allocation.
Freezes and needs a minimize/maximize to unfreeze.
Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS and GNOME 42.9.
