Exponential notation is not captured as a float

I saw the value 3.933994946453261e-05 was not converted to a sigfig. I am guessing this is because this values is not interpreted as a float.

Try:

if e- or e+ is in the string then assume a float and multiple number by 10^(string after e[-/+])

an alternative:

in the sigfig, if there is an e in the float name then sigfig on values before e and concatonate e in final string
