Feature Request: Writing iptc/xmp metadata to webp

I was getting into webp, now that its more widely supported across the board and is just more performative on the web (+smaller sizes), so i started converting some assets into webp (and keeping all iptc/xmp metadata).

I was glad to find out Allusion renders webp just fine, and on 'importing metadata' it could lift prexisting xmp subjects as tags just fine... So i tought it was all fine and used Allusion as usual, editing tags, removing and adding some... and as usual i always export the changes 'export tags to metadata', to later find confusing tags in other apps (bridge, xnview)

Took me awhile to pinpoint what happened, and if i figured it correctly Allusion can import metadata already in webps- but cant export/save to them.

Is this possible? Posting this as a feature request, but if not possible (or while not possible) some tip/text on the settings window could be useful; Any non-possible formats to export could be listed under a 'see unsupported files' foldable, right next to the import/export buttons

We rely on Exiftool for reading and writing tags, which didn't support writing to WebP until recently, but it now does apparently! https://exiftool.org/forum/index.php?topic=13797.msg75297#msg75297

We'll include that update in the next Allusion release 👍

Hey just wondering if I will be able to see metadata/tags in webp or jpeg images on XnView MP app? And vice versa. I guess XnView uses XMP instead of Exiftool. Dont know what this means. chatGPT cant help me there :-)
