What

Redesign the plugin user interface including links to documentation

Why

So people have more confidence using plugins, understand what they are for generally and what each plugin will provide

Who

Done when

  • There's a new UI designed
  • There's a prototype of the new UI
  • The new UI design has been tested
  • Iterate the design based in user research
  • There's a ticket to implement the new UI

NB for after user testing

  • Add documentation URL to the plugin spec

Ordering plugins - we considered ordering by Most downloads. However, the number from NPM is misleading as it includes all projects, not just prototypes. This means plugins like jQuery and Notify client would appear first with hundreds of thousands of downloads, even though they are not actually the most popular in prototypes.
