What is the request?.
Option to pin the bar to any corner/orientation

Why is it useful?
in theory a vertical bar uses up less space

Fixed. Rotate the screen as shown in the screenshot. 😀

This can be complicated... rotating the bar itself is usually easy, the widgets requires a lot of work..

with widgets that open a window like the volume one or even with just button widgets? i'm not sure how i'm going to handle things like the date being vertical honestly haha

Popup widget we can just rotate but what about clock, title, volume and all others.. ?
