Hi,
I work on PRTG at Paessler. Thank you for creating this solution for our product. We want to inform you that we will deprecate the Python Script Advanced Sensor that you use with this script starting in PRTG version .106. From PRTG version .110, your proposed solution will stop working. Our deprecation plan is as follows:
• PRTG version .106 (approx. April 2025): The sensor can no longer be created and will disappear from the sensor dialogue.
• PRTG version .110 (approx. July 2025): All installed sensors will stop working.
We have created some knowledge base articles explaining how you can transfer your existing solution with the Python Script Advanced Sensor to the Script V2 sensor: https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/91900-how-can-i-make-my-python-scripts-work-with-the-script-v2-sensor https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/91902-why-should-i-use-the-script-v2-sensor https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/script_v2_sensor
Please update your repository and README accordingly. Thank you for your help.
Kind regards
Jörg Hollerith
