md-checkbox vertical align issue when no text

What is the expected behavior?

Vertical align should be the same with or without text.

What is the current behavior?

Vertical align is off if there is no text

What are the steps to reproduce?

Create a md-checkbox with no text, as follow:

What is the use-case or motivation for changing an existing behavior?

checkbox in table is offen without text and in its own cell
