Full Storage Access

The Play Store restricts AnkiDroid's access to your collection. If you want to access your existing collection, please uninstall AnkiDroid and install it from another app store.

• 2.16 allows for MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, which is forbidden by the Play Store, it provides all 2.16 features while keeping your collection in a location which Android will not offer to delete if AnkiDroid is uninstalled.
