Opening this issue to ask if iModYourAnno has --or might have in the future-- plans to support archived mods?
When I was ready to release my Residences Provide Influence mod Anno 1800 had just completed the release of game update 17 which added support for loading archived mods (and mods in sub-folders #211). It was really nice to be able to inform possible users that they could "download mod archive file and then copy that archive file into Anno 1800's mods directory" and it would "Just Work™".
Now that I am back on Windows I have finally been able to try iModYourAnno. I really like it. Especially the tweaking options it provides to uses who might not want to "tweak" a mod by editing it's source code. I am adding support for iModYourAnno's tweaking capabilities to the mods I've been working on. I have completed the addition of iModYourAnno tweaking abilities to one mod and am now working towards a release of that mod. That is when I ran into the issue that prompted my initial question.
It would be awesome if I could release the mod as an archive and also have it visible and tweakable with iModYourAnno. Right now that option isn't easily available. It is available, but the user would need to download the archive, unzip it, copy the correct folder into Anno 1800's mods folder and then they can see it and tweak it in iModYourAnno.
Being lazy like I am, that seems like a lot of work versus "Download mod archive, put mod archive into Anno 1800's mods folder".
If iModYourAnno does add support for archived mods and mods in sub-folders I think that would be a huge win for all, modders and gamers alike. Modders could provide an easy-to-install archived mod that is also tweakable via iModYourAnno. Gamers benefit from easier to install mods that are also easily tweakable with iModYourAnno.

Okay, at least the managing part can be done for zips pretty easily. At least the tweaks in the zip would need some major implementation effort, and I'd wait until #213 is either merged or disregarded.
