Have you read a contributing guide?

  • I have read CONTRIBUTING.md
  • I have searched the existing requests and didn't find any that were similar
  • I have considered creating a pull request instead and want to proceed

Clear and concise description of the problem

After creating a relation, its type cannot be changed.

Suggested solution

Allow changing its type.

Alternative

Having to delete and re-create the type is frustrating.

This would also be very useful to add another Object type as an option to an Object relation

Currently, the workaround is to use sets and bulk editing for this purpose. It's inconvenient, but it works

One special case in particular would add a lot of value: When a relation has the choice type, it should be easy to add options.
This should be easier, as it does not involve changing the type of the relation, but the definition of the underlying type.
