Current behavior:

If you want to create a new topology based on an existing one, you can do that via the API but you can't do it in TP.

New behavior:

In TP, allow the user to clone a topology so they can create new topologies based on existing ones.

Anything else:

  • The clone should be set to "inactive" even if the source topology is active.
  • The clone should have a different name than the source topology or let the user specify the name.
