when running 1.6 beta i experienced that not having deviceconsole installed, the session creation got stuck without any meaningful feedback. It should at least tell me that i need to install it.

I didn't specified the realDeviceLogger capability.

The fix should be available in appium-xcuitest-driver@2.0.12.
