Is there any way to map LDAP netgroups to unix groups?

There is not a straightforward way to do that. The problem is that have to take the second element from the home,user,domain triple. Even if you could make an attribute mapping expression in nslcd.conf, you need to be able to perform searches on the group member attribute which means that it cannot be an expression.
