ArcadeFlashWeb says the adobe flash player version is too old, please update
but the Arcadeflashweb feature says "ArcadeFlashWeb is a easy portable program to play local/internet Flash games (SWF), without installing Flash Player (works despite the end of Flash)"
https://i.imgur.com/sGOuooA.png
It says Adobe flash player update notice
this version is too old,not suppot, please update for using.

Hi @jerrylee4,

Before using ArcadeFlashWeb you must uninstall all Adobe Flash versions on your computer.
I just tested on two computers (Windows 10 and 11): it works very well.

Can you tell me more information about your computer (OS)?

Thanks.

Windows 11
version 22H2
date ‎2022/‎9/‎22
OS version 22621.1105

I had flash player, but I've deleted it for months,
coundn't find flash software in system list now
Any way to check?

I tried on another win11 device
It works well first time(Game:shift)
and when I try to run another game(jinyongqunxiazhuan)a chinese game.it says:
this flash player is not compatible with your region please reinstall ADOBE FLASH PLAYER
and when I tried the "reinstall" button
whatever I instal or not
it could never run any game.
even when I delete all Arcadewebflash files and re-decompress the zip file.
Now,As I remember, last time I try to reinstall the Adobe flash player after click reinstall button
and uinstalled it.The the update issue started

Hi @jerrylee4,

Thank you for this feedback.

The official Adobe Flash plugins are in the ArcadeFlashWeb root directory. The files are called "pepflashplayer.dll" and "pepper.vch". This is the latest official version, 32.0.0.371.

Do you play by loading a SWF file locally or from a website?

Because ArcadeFlashWeb is mainly functional for the local. I also programmed it for the RetroBat software. And it works successfully.

Check that you don't have the "pepflashplayer.dll" and "pepper.vch" files elsewhere on your computer. You can read the instructions here.

Hello,thanks for your help,I'm grateful
And For the questions:
I've used the uninstaller.exe and even tried to installer the current version and uninstalled by Geek to make sure it's been deleted clearly before I ask this question
I'm using local files(.swf)
File Link, two games one have been played successfully, one is never(A chinese famous flash game)
I've checked the "pepflashplayer.dll" and "pepper.vch" they both exist and never been changed
Could you please try those two swf?
Also,Retrobat is great!!!!

Hello @jerrylee4,

Both games work perfectly on my computer (Windows 11 Home - with the latest updates).

I think there must be traces of an Adobe Flash installation in your computer... It is very important to have no installation traces for ArcadeFlashWeb to work well.

Do you have the possibility to try on a computer with a fresh installation of Windows 11?

I think I find the reason
It's caused by the adobe flash player update notice
Flash Player is Outsource to some Unofficial developer after Adobe shut down it in China
So when someone try to use the old version, the Updater will stop you from running the old version
I tried to block the updater in host and it works
ADD these lines in host for anyone who need it

127.0.0.1 geo2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 fpdownload2.macromedia.com
127.0.0.1 fpdownload.macromedia.com
127.0.0.1 macromedia.com

thanks again!
