Hello,

I'm curious if this is a project that is going to be developed further or not. I've been comparing mocha and ava, and I do like ava. But it also seems to get less attention than mocha (if I'm wrong, I apologize for misreading that).

It will, but most of the team is enjoying the summer away from keyboard at the moment, so it haven't seen much activity lately. Browser support is our biggest focus going forward, but it won't happen overnight.

I'll keep this open for discovery.

Hey all,

Since this issue seems to be the best place to do it, what is the status of karma-ava? I'm sure right now everyone on the team is enjoying their various holidays. However, I am eager to see this package ready for some real use.

The best way to make this "ready" is for some people to actually start using it. Most of the team is pretty Node.js focused, so we need some users to step up and help push it.

Hi @jamestalmage @sindresorhus

We are totally psyched about moving over to using AVA for our tests.

But looking at this thread, and the README it seems browser support is in alpha stage via this plugin and it requires a custom build of AVA?

Can you give us any plans on further pushing the development? Would you need any additional help in development for this plugin?

Thanks a lot!

@raisedadead This plugin is basically dead until someone takes it over. @jamestalmage is focusing on real life at the moment. No one else on the team uses AVA for browser stuff, so it's not a priority for us.

In other words, @raisedadead yes we're looking for somebody to champion this effort. I'm really hoping it doesn't require to many changes in AVA itself though.

Thanks for getting back to us @sindresorhus @novemberborn.

I would love to be able to help in this effort, that said I personally have never used ava in production, let alone in the browser, hence lack any expertise on the same.

I will definitely try and contribute if at all we manage to get this working. Will get back to you guys, if I have further queries.
