Describe the feature

Currently, there is no way to override buildspec when using the CodeBuildStartBuild task.

Use Case

I want to add a prop to configure buildspecOverride when using the CodeBuildStartBuild task.

Add a prop to configure buildspecOverride when using CodeBuildStartBuild task.

  project: codebuildProject,

Hi @saudkhanzada , buildSpecOverride is currently not provided by Cloudformation, hence can not be supported by CDK. However you can submit this feature request to Cloudformation coverage roadmap.

We can use tasks.CallAwsService

const startBuildTask = new tasks.CallAwsService(this, 'StartCodeBuildWithOverrides', {
      service: 'codebuild',
      action: 'startBuild',
      parameters: {
        ProjectName: 'xxx',
