Description

At least on my linux tabblet, the touch keyboard doesn't come up with KDE Plasma 6 Wayland session when touching the phone number field in "Connect with Signal" dialog. This seemingly makes it impossible to proceed without a physical keyboard, at least I haven't figured out how.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install axolotl with all data wiped, using a KDE Wayland 6 session with the on screen keyboard (maliit) enabled in the KDE settings
  2. Tap "next" on axolotl startup screen
  3. Tap phone number entry on "Connect with signal" screen

Expected behavior: Touch keyboard comes up so I can actually enter a number

Actual behavior: There's no touch keyboard so I'm stuck

Versions

I can't reach the about dialog, but it should be the latest on flathub

Device

Steam Deck

Link to Debug Log

Please provide a link to debug from ~/.cache/upstart/application-click-axolotl.nanuc_axolotl*.log
Be careful it contains sensible data
