I did my best in these 7 hours, completed whole backend which includes:

    • Contact functionality
    • Top caregivers listing
  5. Health Metrics System

    • Multiple metric types (blood pressure, heart rate, etc.)

    • Health alerts
    • Trend tracking
  6. Email System

    • Mailtrap integration
    • Welcome emails
    • Task reminders
    • Alert notifications
    • Async processing with Celery
  7. Real-time Communication

    • Video calling

Each and everything in the backend can be tested after activating the virtual environment, installing everything in requirements.txt, and after running app.py, using the commands given in test.md

Some components of frontend is working, some are not


I will provide the step for basic setup, You can test if you want

Backend Setup and Testing Guide

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.8+ installed
  • pip package manager
  • Git (optional, but recommended)

Setup Instructions

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/azeebneuron/CareMate.git
cd CareMate

2. Create and Activate Virtual Environment

# On Windows
python -m venv venv
venv\Scripts\activate

# On macOS/Linux
python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate

3. Install Dependencies

pip install -r requirements.txt

4. Set Up Environment Variables

Create a .env file in the project root directory and add any necessary environment variables. Refer to .env.example for required variables.

5. Run the Application

python app.py

Testing the Backend

Refer to test.md for specific test cases and additional testing instructions.
