We have already something similar on Chromiecraft, AIO addon, completely optional. As far as I'm aware transmog is 100% optional too

For what it's worth, commit #166 didn't resolve this issue. While ezCollections seems to be written for a very specific server, it's still not possible to manage transmog appearances through an addon, be it ezCollections or MogIt. An NPC is still required to manage your transmog, something which this suggestion was looking to change.
