As far as I can see, https://mpr.makedeb.org/api does not expose any endpoint that would allow us to get a license for a package.
Also, the first thing I see when I look at https://mpr.makedeb.org/api is

"NOTE: The API interface is current in development, and stability is not guaranteed. Endpoints may be changed and removed at any point, and you should avoid using the API interface for the time being if you're expecting stability."

As a service, this one looks like Makedeb is probably not a goer for us at this time.
