We've got a team and we've got a deadline. Our deadline is January 29 and our team is @ackerdev @bryanveloso @nathany @jbowes @olivierlacan @whit537. We've all got other commitments but I think we've got a lot of talent here and we should be able to launch something we're all proud of on January 29.

I propose that we establish a weekly stand-up using Google Hangout On Air as a way to keep up a rhythm in the midst of all of our other commitments. With Bryan in California and Olivier moving back to France, I believe our timezone spread is 9 hours, UTC-8 to UTC+1. I believe Nathan is UTC-7 and James is UTC-4. Nick and I are UTC-5. That's a tricky spread.

Any chance we could have a regular Hangout on Thursdays at 6pm UTC? That would be:

  • 10am UTC-8
  • 11am UTC-7
  • 1pm UTC-5
  • 2pm UTC-4
  • 6pm UTC
  • 7pm UTC+1

The purpose here is to bring some cohesion to the team and keep us moving steadily towards January 29. If a weekly stand-up isn't the best way, let's find what is.

@whit537 I'd be up for a weekly hangout (excluding Boxing Day). Hopefully we can keep it to half-an-hour?

Is this happening today?

@nathany No, seems like this didn't get traction.
