@Wendi-West Thank you for your application. This looks like such a great event! |
@KafayahL Thank you!!!! |
@Wendi-West, Thank you for applying for a DEI Badging for your event. I am done with my review, but I would like to suggest that you consider showcasing the diversity in speaker and attendee demographics on the site as well. Have a great event. |
@ElizabethN I am done with my review. |
@Anita-ihuman Thank you. We list "Check out the transparency report for opt-in statistics from KubeCon+CloudNativeCon North America 2021. Please note, attendee demographic questions are optional for speakers and attendees, and are based on opt-in only responses." on our Diversity + Inclusion page of the website. Does that fulfill your suggestion? Or you're suggesting that we list specific numbers for speakers and attendees of the previous event on the webpage? |

@Wendi-West I'm guessing you're ok with this badge but is there anything else you'd like to add before I issue it? 😊 |

Yes. We review all feedback received, discuss as a team, and implement changes or suggestions as needed. This will be an on-going process to share best practices for equity and inclusion at our events.Q

The Diversity + Inclusion page (https://events.linuxfoundation.org/kubecon-cloudnativecon-europe/attend/diversity-inclusion/#open-closed-captioning) of our event website lists Closed Captioning information as well as on site resources such as All-gender Restrooms, Venue accessibility, Quiet Room, Communication & Interaction stickers, etc.Q

There is a tech support and contact button for attendees to connect directly with MeetingPlay. Generally, attendees direct their feedback and suggestions to the event team directly via our Add Mock event 3 #1-kubecon-suggestionbox Slack channel during the event, or we take note of common issues or concerns that get asked in our Help Desk Add Mock event 3 #1-kubecon-eventhelpdesk and relay to MeetingPlay tech / dev teams.Q
