Seems the internal code has changed. Need to at least allow some features to work, like busting the require cache

Seems to be broken on 4.4 and 4.3 as well.

Try using https://github.com/VictorBjelkholm/autochecker to figure out which Node v8 engines are changed. Seems autochecker has a problem since it runs from alpine docker images that do NOT have git tool - and this project uses pre-git
