Most Recent Release Breaks Example Repository #498

The most recent release has all release assets as .zip files vs. .tar.gz. This makes the example repository in the README.md fail to run as the grep command finds the wrong file, additionally, tar won't do the right thing for that file extension.

It looks like the binary releases are no longer being generated - the only links are for source bundles.
