EFT payments will arrive with a short name identifying the client. This won't be the BCROS account name or number though.
A screen and/or process will be needed to map the first payment from each client to the correct BCROS account.
Larger clients will have a single short name, and they will want to pay multiple accounts using this short name.
This means that a single short name can be linked to multiple accounts.
Also, they intend to send us a single EFT for multiple statements.
From BC Hydro Feb 12th
Proposal:
Short names that are mapped to more than 1 account will not have their payments applied automatically.
Manual steps will be needed to map a portion of the EFT to the appropriate accounts.
Staff to review the email that accompanies an EFT that is paying for multiple statements.
Screen to allow a single short name to be 'associated' to multiple accounts.
In cases where short name is mapped to more than one account, prompt staff via UI to specify which account is getting which amount.
Feb 27 - estimated 3-4 sprints to be stable in production for this epic specifically.
