bug seen in DEV as Staff but should be tested for QS and Staff when switching between all transfer types

To replicate:

  • Open MHR 107839 in Dev
  • Select Transfer Grant of Probate with will
  • change the ownership (remove SO and add exec)
  • fill out doc id, declared value
  • Go to Review and Confirm
  • Fill out all information - submitting party, attn, confirm and authorized check boxes
  • Then hit BACK button to return to first screen
  • Then select a different transfer type from dropdown (ie Transfer to Executor - Estate under $25,000 with Will)
  • There are items both on the first screen and on the review and confirm screen for the new transfer type that weren't cleared properly.

Items that should be cleared when a user changes transfer types that are not getting cleared:

  • Declared Value gets cleared but shows error instead of default state
  • Doc ID should be cleared anytime to change transfer type and any fields have been entered (retains info that was entered from previous transfer type)
  • Submitting Party not getting cleared (retains info that was entered from previous transfer type)
  • Attn field not getting cleared (retains info that was entered from previous transfer type)
  • Authorization check box not getting cleared (retains info that was entered from previous transfer type)

Decision to leave as is for now. If staff are data entering from a form the key piece that would change based upon a different transfer type is the home owners. If staff are changing to file a transfer for an entirely new client they should cancel the transfer they have started and start a fresh one.
