Post layout

Currently the posts are roughly layed out with raw-text, in chronological order, left-justified and 80% width. One selected Post is hilited with a bold border.

Post layout is import to make it easy to read and understand the Dialogue.

Information to convey includes:

• the text content
• the author name & icon
• external links / content
• emoji
• reactions
• relation / reply to prior posts (threads)

There are a limited number of formatting tools available including:

• left / right justify
• border width
• bitmap

There are some open questions:

• how best indicate the author (emoji or png icon)?
• should the user posts be right justified?
• how to link replies - show threads?
• how to show reactions?
• other?

Any layout stolen from existing communicators will do as that is what people expect. So we should deviate only in firmly substantiated cases (e.g. lack of computing resources for animated gifs & smileys 😉).

Simple one is e.g. DeltaChat. A more complex ones are WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram.

Also, the chat app will be the primary demonstration of text size capabilities. So the layout should work perfectly with the largest font size set in the system. Visually impaired will like it (and me too).
