Current thoughts on Authentication.

There will be (a) protected environment(s) where the Key Ring repositories will be stored. Users will be authenticated with an OAuth/Open ID provider to access that Repository. The repository will still be password-encrypted and decrypted on the User's Terminal node.

Thus Authentication will be done in-network - no external providers besides the OAuth/Open ID check to get access to the User's Key Ring.
