Vagrant failed for Ubuntu 1404 install #86
Comments
Tried for the Ubuntu 1202 install. For that I found http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2196376 where: "It appears you need to update the package list to get the current list of packages. Enter this command in a terminal"

Confirmed. This workaround fixes it for both the Ubuntu 1202 and 1404 installs. Interestingly, for both installs, I had to provision twice because of this intermittent error:
For that maybe my ISP is having a bad day... |

I manage to somehow fix this issue. inside --- a/Vagrantfile
+++ b/Vagrantfile
chef.run_list = [
+ 'recipe[apt]',
'recipe[java]',
"recipe[#{cookbook}]",
'recipe[stash::backup_client_cron]'
] |
I've tried this on two Macs. Maybe the issue is a transient network matter, but I thought I should lodge it.
For comparison, the Centos7 vagrant install works fine. The Debian one also has problems, I will post a separate issue.
