Webpack 4 compatibility

Hi there! Awesome quality of a package you've done.
Any plans for webpack4 compatibility to make it work with create-react-app setups? Many big libraries didn't migrate over to webpack 5 yet, like CRA, material-ui, etc.

Or should we only use older versions which are compatible, e.g. @1.7.1 ?
