Registry as a Service

Anyone can provide "Registry as a Service" within a community, which are curated lists of data. Examples for this are Land Registry and Business Registry.

If you have any kind of business idea, you can register your company within the communities you are a member of. These can be any kinds of company, from selling your homemade clothing to a software development company or a retail store.

The idea of a registry service is a bit different than a data service. A registry service has a lot more functionality than the data service.

Examples of registry services:

• Company Registry
• Land Registry

A registry has an authority (DID) behind it, that might provide various kinds of services around the data entered into the registry. For example a company registry, might include validation of the company structure, storage of yearly financial statements, announcements, updates and changes to the company (to track updates for companies).

The land registry, can provide similar service and include validation of land measurements, enforcing of regulations, etc. that is related to management of land.

Also want to support external registries, such as the Blockchain Social Network, which is metadata published to the Stellar blockchain on social relations and other data. Ariton can provide a view into this data and perhaps directly or externally integrate with tools to manage user's data on the Stellar blockchain.
