Describe the bug

  1. I follow user A and user B. User A makes post 1, and self-replies to post 1 with post 2.
  2. User B reposts post 2.
  3. In the following feed, user B's repost of post 2 is present (and displayed at the time of their repost) but user A's post 1 is not displayed at all.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Make users A, B, C. Have C follow A and B.
  2. Have user A make a post (we'll call this post 1) and then have user A self-reply to that post (we'll call this post 2).
  3. Have user B repost post 2.
  4. Look at the following timeline from user C's perspective. Post 1 will not show up.

Here is one example I noticed tonight: https://bsky.app/profile/jamellebouie.net/post/3l4kizmi6oc26 when following both @jamellebouie.net and @atherton.bsky.social.

Expected behavior

User A's post 1 should be visible in the following feed. I'm not sure whether I expect the self-reply to be threaded next to it in addition to located at the repost, but post 1 should not disappear from the following feed.
