POM can easily add depth and detail to textures on low-poly models. Implementing POM in Malt can improve the visual quality of textures on low-poly models (ex. brick walls, wood surfaces, etc.).
Also, POM is more efficient than displacement because it uses less compute resources and can be applied to a wide variety of textures(converting to black and white), while displacement requires a high-poly mesh to be effective.
