Syntax support for Markdown

Would be cool with Markdown syntax. Then one could get the functionality that e.g. IntelliJ has: Some syntax highlighting in an editor, with a live preview pane to the right that renders the result, using e.g. https://github.com/atlassian/commonmark-java

RSTA would naturally support the syntax highlighting, but not the preview pane, which would have to be implemented in some other component.
