The package source can be saved under the packaging directory e.g. packaging/debian

I could help with this as per https://github.com/SentryPeer/SentryPeer/tree/main/packaging

I'm just getting into rust and enjoying reading your code base.

What are your thoughts about putting this in Cargo.toml?

Hi @hannesdejager

I'll be back on this in a while. I've got a book contract with PragProg about C and Rust. In my book I'll have a section on packaging, so I'll make sure to come back and do your stuff and mine with cargo to report the findings.

Probably sooner.

Thanks.
