Measurement and Computation of Fire Phenomena Database

Welcome to the MaCFP database!

The central objective of the MaCFP working group is to target fundamental progress in fire science and to advance predictive fire modeling. The purpose of this database is to host high-quality experimental data for the purpose of validating physics-based fire models. The working group meets before the IAFSS conference currently held every three years.

In preparation for MaCFP-3, please read the following:

Modeling Guidelines for the MaCFP 2023 Workshop

Submission of Computational Results

Please visit our wiki pages for additional details.

Presentations for the MaCFP workshops can be found on the GitHub Releases page:

MaCFP-3 (Tsukuba, 2023)

MaCFP-2 (Waterloo, 2021)

MaCFP-1 (Lund, 2017)

If you find problems with the database or if you have suggestions for improvement, please submit an Issue.
