Possibility to override wording #400
Comments
Hello @BartlomiejSopalaKarhoo, |
Hi @KunJeongPark. As you can see at attached screen if words in navigation bar were shorter it would looks way nicer. This is only example. So there is no other way to override wording? |
Hello @BartlomiejSopalaKarhoo, Thank you for that additional information. The only way you can modify the translation is to fork our repository from gitHub and modify the files yourself. We have created a ticket to improve appearance of the navigation bar with longer texts. We don’t have capacity to do this at the moment but here is the internal ticket number for the issue created if you want to track the progress with our support team: DTBTSDK-2487 Thank you again for bringing this to our attention! |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
For some languages UI of drop in is not perfect, i.e. for french (navigation bar):
I would like to know if there is a way to override wordings in your drop-in?
I found this method setCustomTranslations: https://braintree.github.io/braintree-ios-drop-in/current/Classes/BTDropInLocalization.html
but don't know if it was designed for that reason and how to use it.
Regards,
Bartek
