Description

I have the brave stable version on my Linux (Manjaro KDE, X11). Since moving or creating tabs in X11 is very laggy, I thought enabling Vulkan would give me a smoother experience. And it did, at least before I did the recent update of Brave. Now every time I enable Vulkan and relaunch the browser, the browser window just freezes loading some parts of the page I was on when I relaunched. The browser still works but the screen stays frozen. So, to fix this I have to half guess where the "reset all" button is on the about:flags page and relaunch the browser after clicking that.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to about:blank page.
  2. Enable Vulkan.
  3. Relaunch the Browser.

Actual result:

The brave window loads some part of the Browser and freezes.

Expected result:

The browser should load normally without freezing or anything.

Reproduces how often:

Easily reproduced. It happens every time I enable Vulkan.

Did try it out today, and seems working on my platform, would you mind retry too?
