Longer term data (Specifically historical rain)

I have been banging my head against a wall for a couple of weeks (I am not much of a coder) trying to keep track of rain in the longer team (week, month, YTD, all time).
I have a sense of what would need to be pulled, but frankly, I don't know how to do it. I would figure others might want this data as well?
Weatherflow confirmed that the data can be pulled via the REST API, so that is at least an option here.
