Automatic backup function

The manual backup function is nice, although since it's manual there is a big chance that it's being forgotten.
Yesterday the jason got corrupted after a reboot of the vm.
Had to restore the complete vm.
Automatic backup at xx:xx time and maybe a setting to specify the versions to keep would be handy.

Automatic backups would be nice, but only make sense if the backup is stored on a different physical storage – maybe on a remote server.

already a USB stick would be a great option to store the backup

Or both versioning (keep last 5 versions, in other files) and automatic off device backup
