Research Question

Single sentence description: What have the speed patterns been for existing route 20 in this corridor? How will the SURF! Busway project improve speeds, rider experience, and accessibility?

How will this research be used?

What will be achieved or informed? What is the intended impact?

Support MST in communicating and implementing project.

Stakeholders & End-Users

Monterey-Salinas Transit

Metrics

  • speedmap data staged for Sep 2022-Aug 2023
  • corridor defined, corridor speed analysis run
  • additional detailed speed data, visualizations
  • accessibility analysis

Timeline of deliverables:

To deliver by 9/22
