What the current heat module does:

Data-wise

Produce national resolution time series of aggregated heat demand (space heat + hot water. cooking not included)
Produce national resolution time series of heat pump COP
Produce national resolution singled-out aggregated annual demand for hot water, space heat and cooking (in results folder)

Model-wise
Nothing

What it doesn’t do:

Data-wise

Time-varying capacity of heat pump → see the rule ofheat_pump_characteristics and cop.ipynb in SCEC

Model-wise

Produce the heat technologies default definition .yaml file → see the template euro-calliope/templates/heat-techs.yaml and its 2030 override src/template/2030/heat-techs.yaml
Produce the heat group constraints .yaml file → see the rule of annual_heat_constraints
